Job Overview: 

As a Senior Technical Designer for Interior Fitout, you will be responsible for leading the technical aspects of interior design projects, ensuring that designs are translated into executable plans and specifications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, project managers, and contractors, to deliver high-quality interior fitout solutions that meet client requirements and comply with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Design Development:

• Translate conceptual design ideas into detailed technical drawings and specifications.
• Collaborate with the design team to ensure that aesthetic concepts align with technical feasibility.
• Develop and refine design details to meet project goals, client expectations, and budget constraints.

Technical Documentation:

• Prepare comprehensive construction documents, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and details.
• Specify materials, finishes, and furnishings, considering both aesthetic and technical requirements.
• Ensure all documentation complies with relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards.

Collaboration:

• Work closely with architects, project managers, and other stakeholders to integrate interior fitout designs with overall project goals.
• Coordinate with external consultants, such as structural engineers and MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) professionals, to incorporate their input into design solutions.

Quality Control:

• Conduct thorough reviews of design documentation to identify and resolve potential issues before construction.
• Monitor the implementation of design plans during construction to ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.

Technical Expertise:

• Stay current with industry trends, building codes, and regulations related to interior fitout.
• Provide technical guidance to junior designers and team members.
• Research and recommend new materials, technologies, and methods to enhance design and construction processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Proven experience in interior fitout projects, with a focus on technical design.
• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit) and other relevant design tools.
• Minimum 7 years with IT skills CAD/ Max 30
•  Prepare technical drawings for retail fit-out projects, full set of architectural drawings
• Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Project management experience is a plus.
