RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and implement financial strategies tailored to each sector (production, service, retail) to enhance profitability and operational efficiency.
• Analyze and present the annual operating budget including standard product cost development, budgeted variances, cost center budgeting, headcount requirements, volumeanalysis and raw material pricing analysis, costs related to procurement of new equipment.
• Collaborate with department heads to provide financial insights, guidance, and support in decision-making processes, including investment opportunities, cost reduction strategies, and revenue enhancement initiatives.
• Work closely with organizational leaders to provide them support relating to cost related matters
• Prepare feasibility studies for expansion projects across the Middle East
• Monitor and assess financial performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective measureswhere necessary.
• Manage cash flow, liquidity, and risk management strategies across different sectors to ensure financial stability.
• Oversee internal controls,financial procedures, and compliance with accounting standards and regulatory guidelines.
• Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of continuous learning, development, and high performance.

QUALIFICATION

• Bachelor/master’s degree in accounting, Finance, Economics(or in a similar area).
• Minimum 8-10 years of working experience.
• Preference towards candidates from manufacturing, construction, industrial manufacturing
• Preference towards candidates that are CMA, CPA, CIMA, CFA, CA qualified.
• Ability to initiate, problem solve, someone that is analytical, agile,hands- on.
• Ability to communicate and manage a team.
• Good business partner across various functions.
